Ari is an award-nominated commercial producer — but it didn’t start that way.

He grew up in a home without a television, but storytelling was everywhere. At fourteen, he got his hands on a friend’s dad’s (yep) mini-DV camera and started filming school projects. His family computer kept crashing, but that didn’t stop him.

With money saved from summer jobs, he bought his first DSLR right as the video revolution hit and began shooting videos for local nonprofits. Volunteering turned into paid gigs, and soon, storytelling became a career.

After producing the international documentary With My Whole Broken Heart, distributed in over 350 cities, Ari founded Storyhood — a boutique production studio known for emotionally rich, visually compelling content. He’s since directed and produced hundreds of films, branded spots, and music videos for clients across industries, building custom in-house studios and leading shoots from Brooklyn to Buenos Aires.

In 2019, he joined the creative team at Morgan & Morgan, where he helped revolutionize legal advertising with authentic, award-nominated testimonial campaigns — playing a key role in the firm’s transformation from a regional name to a national brand.

When he’s not working, Ari enjoys black coffee, long walks in nature, and the music of Leonard Cohen. But mostly, he’s into people — listening to their stories, and telling them through his own lens.
