so who is this guy?
So today, I’m an award-nominated commercial producer, but things didn’t start out that way.
I was raised in a home without a Television, yet I grew up in an atmosphere that was filled with a rich culture of story. At age fourteen, I got my hands on my friend’s dad’s (I know) mini-DV camera and began producing videos for school projects. My family computer (think: Windows 95) kept crashing, but I was persistent, and it paid off.
At the dawn of the DSLR video revolution, I bought my first camera with money I saved from summer jobs. I began volunteering my talent to local nonprofits, and it wasn't long 'til they started paying me.
After producing the international documentary, With My Whole Broken Heart, I founded Storyhood in 2015.
In 2019, I began working with the creative team at Morgan & Morgan, revolutionizing how law firms advertise and helping the firm grow from a local to a national brand.
When not working, I enjoy a good cup of coffee, nature, and the music of Leonard Cohen, but mostly, I appreciate people. I enjoy hearing their perspective, but my greatest joy; telling their stories through my lens.
